Ely Diocesan Liturgical Committee

The Diocesan Liturgical Committee exists to promote high standards of worship and liturgy in the Diocese of Ely. The Committee was reconstituted in Autumn 2000 and has a new membership. Details of the Committee can be found here.

As part of the Church of England, the principal services authorized and commended for use in the Diocese of Ely are the same as elsewhere in the Church: the Book of Common Prayer; Common Worship; and some others.

Other services are authorized for use in the Diocese of Ely. These include:
